Everybody can use creative visualization to achieve their goals. Some people have a difficult time with visualization techniques when they first begin. Many of us do not believe that we have control of our thought process.
Creative visualization is a technique that everyone can get better at. We all use visualization in different way. There are no secret formulas or complicated exercises. Only thing we need is to believe.
Emotions and feelings are considered most potent visualization techniques to energize thoughts. Creative visualization techniques use our deepest feelings and emotions to energize thoughts.
Basic creative visualization technique include next steps:
1. Decide exactly what you want
To get what you want, you need to know what it is. You can write down all the things you think you want. Then choose one that’s the most important right now. Some people want to start with "easier" goals, and then work up to "harder" ones. It's up to you to decide.
For success, you need focused mind. Clear your mind of all thoughts and relax. Feel how each part of your body is relaxing. With slow, deep breath, start relaxing at your toes, and work your way up to your head. Relaxing should take a few minutes.
Picture the idea or object exactly as you want it to be. Get clear about what you want. Imagine it very clearly as if you already possessed it. Specifics are very important. You can also draw it if your goal is something that you can picture visually. This is one way to convey your deepest desire to the universe.
Everyone’s visual sensory system is different. Some people say they have trouble picturing things or that they don't have a good imagination, but that's not true. Everybody can imagine. Mental images don't always come in the form of a picture, sometimes it's thoughts or sensations can be used to create a mental image.
You can practice visualizing by picturing the things you see and do in everyday life. One of the practices is to look at everything in front of you and study the image. Then close eyes and try creating the same image in your mind. You can repeat this until you feel comfortable. Another practice is to close your eyes and picture something in detail, feel it with all the senses.
4. Send the positive energy
Creative visualization and positive thinking are inseparable. Always focus on the positive image. Then think of it often and send the positive energy out into the universe. If contradictory thoughts arise, don't resist them, just let them flow through your consciousness. Don’t give them a power, they don't otherwise have.
5. Use affirmations
Affirmations are one of the most important elements. Affirmations are a positive statement of acceptance of our goals. Affirmations are always in the present tense.
Never worry about achieving your goal. Believe in the process and repeat the visualization. Repetition is the secret to empowering visualization.
Always end your visualization with affirmative statement about you.
